Veerankutty is widely published Malayalam poet. He was the head of the Malayalam department at Madapally Govt. College. ), Mindaprani(2015). Republic of Silence(2018) Always In Bloom, A Stroll Grazing Each Other, Lokakavita, Alayunna Paravagal(Translation) are poetry collections. The poems have been translated into English, German, Arabic, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi, Hindi and other languages. Mindaprani won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi award for poetry in 2017. His poetry has received Cherussery Award, P Kunhiraman Nair Poetry Award, Ayanam A Ayyappan Award, VT Kumaran Poetry Award, KSK Thalikulam Award, Tamil Nadu CTM Literary Award, Abu Dhabi Green Letter Award, Dubai Gallery Gallant Award and Sahityolsav Award. Received SBT award for children's literature. Poem published in Poetry International Magazine. German translation of poem broadcasted by Swish Radio. Department of Culture of Qatar Government released Arabic translation of selected poems.
